Life in a paper mill

The living space and workshop were not only under one roof in the paper mill, but were also closely linked. In the late evening, the paper miller again checked the technology in the cellar, sometimes he had to quickly close the ventilation flaps in the three-storey dry floor with the wind coming, so that the paper hung there would not be damaged.

The living situation in the museum is largely unchanged and shows a bedroom from the 1920s, the remaining living spaces area mainly the state of the 1950s and 1960s. Along with text and picture panels, the visitor receives a vivid and authentic picture of the habits of the former mill dwellers.
