Museo della Carta di Pescia

The Pescia Paper Museum is part of the Pescia ETS Paper Museum, which funded the project and currently has 68 members, including private individuals, associations and public institutions. The main purpose of the museum is to preserve and pass on the ancient art of processing and production of “handmade paper” and to raise awareness of the importance and evolution of papermaking, an activity that has been present in the Pescia area since the end of the year 15th century.
